Myth Trading Cards Project

You will create illustrated, color 3½ Í 5 trading cards for the Olympian gods + 2.  Alternately, you may create a personal webpage for each divinity.

Each card must include the following:

·        Greek and Roman names

·        applicable title(s)

·        key familial relationships:

o       spouse

o       main children

·        sacred animal(s) and bird(s)

·        associated object(s)/iconography

·        illustration of the divinity

o       must be in color

o       good resolution (no blurry jpegs)

o       undeniable representation of the divinity (modern art is fine as long as it cannot be mistaken for any other being)

o       include source of your illustration (see below for useful links)

·        key story or incident

Use this statement as your guiding principle:

"If you could only save one myth about this divinity for the future, what would it be?"
