- Das Kleid ist teuer. Das ist ein teures (note the disappearance of an E) Kleid. = The dress is expensive. That is an expensive dress.

- ändern, änderte, hat geändert = to change (opinions, plans)

- Using Adjectives in Front of the Noun (All these are accusative)
- Masc.: Ich habe einen blauen Hut an.
- Fem.: Sie hat eine weiße Bluse an.
- Neut.: Er hat ein neues Hemd an.
- Plur.: Hast du ein Paar braune Schuhe?
- Here are the unusual color adjectives to put in front of a noun:
- orangefarben (instead of orange) = orange (eine orangefarbene Hose)
- rosarot (instead of rosa) = pink (mein rosarotes Kleid)
- lila (never changes form) = purple (einen lila Hut)

- schließen, schloss, hat geschlossen = to shut, close
- der Geldwechsel, – = money exchange
- Price Range
- teuer = expensive
- preiswert = reasonably priced
- billig = cheap
- Dative Verbs
- All these verbs use dative forms after them:
- gefallen, gefiel, hat gefallen (das gefällt) + Dat. = to please
- passen + Dat. = to fit
- stehen + Dat. = to suit, look good on
- These work like "Wie geht es dir/Ihnen?" and "Es geht mir gut."
