• The following activity list from the online textbook may seem large, but in some sections you are just reading cultural material or reviewing what you already know.  You have four days to prepare, so budget a little time each day for German.  This is our last official opportunity to talk about school supplies.  Go to your Clever account and find our book under Carnegie Learning.
• Use the vocabulary for school and the wichtige Ausdrücke (important expressions) on Seite (page) 135 to complete the reading comprehension Übungen (practices) 1 and 2 on S. 136.  We can go over these quickly in class on Tuesday, but it will be clear if you have not prepared them in advance.
• It should not be too time-consuming to jot down the item numbers and the words that answer or complete them. 
• Listen to, read along with, and repeat the Dialog: Wie klug du bist! on S. 137.
• Use the dialog to complete the questions in Übung 3 on S. 138.  Jot down the answers
• Then practice with the questions in Übung 4 on S. 138.  Use the dialog to help you answer the questions.  We will follow up in class with this Q&A.
• Read the cultural materials about school from pp. 143-45.
• Check your school vocab on S. 149.  How much do you already know?  Remember that you can print off your own copy of the page to study.
• Do you need some help or practice time for this or the food testing?  Sign up for Mod 1 on Wed., Sept. 13, for German help and for Mod 2 for German Conversation Group.
